Breastplate is a part of plate armour covering the body from the front. Formed in the late XIV century and existed as long as the armour was in general use. Breastplate and backplate are parts of the cuirass, in some cases, the breastplate was used separately.

This breastplate is made of steel with a thickness of 1.5 mm. It has a decorative element and leather straps with buckles. Very durable and lasting.
